The Best Places to Visit in Faralya
Kabak Valley (Bay)
Faralya's Kabak Bay is one of the hidden paradises of the area. Because it can only be reached on foot, Kabak Bay has kept its unspoilt character, and its red pine forests make visitors feel they are in paradise. As it is mostly frequented by nature lovers and travellers, camping is the main way to stay. However, there is also lovely bungalow accommodation for those who prefer it. When you arrive in Kabak Uzunyurt village, you will find that part of the Lycian Way runs through here. If you like, you can add a splash of green to your holiday with a few short walks of a couple of hours.
And that's without even mentioning the crystal-clear sea, the red dance of the sunsets and the delicious village breakfasts. You will only understand what we are trying to describe if you get the chance to experience them for yourself.
Butterfly Valley
Butterfly Valley in Faralya is one of the most special and beautiful places in the area. Hidden between steep cliffs, it is home to more than 80 species of butterfly, which is where Butterfly Valley gets its name. The fact that it can only be reached by sea is enough to add to the mystery of this hidden paradise. Just like Kabak Bay, camping in tents is common here. If you want to reach the stunning waterfall at the top and get soaked under its cool water, you will need to make an adventurous climb up the steep rocks using iron steps. We are sure you will remember this short but thrilling journey for the rest of your life.
Kıdrak Bay
Another of our recommendations, where you can spend an enjoyable time with friends and family, is Kıdrak Bay. As well as having a picnic area, it boasts a captivating sea. We should mention that the beach is pebbly, so you will need water shoes. As the sea is shallow, you can easily spend time here with your children, and you can hire umbrellas and sunloungers to relax all day long.
Places to Eat and Drink in Faralya
Anyone planning a holiday in Faralya village should first decide where they will stay and how many people will be in the group. Each bay, with its own unique scenery, welcomes visitors in a different way. Particularly in protected conservation areas such as Kabak Bay, there are no shops or shopping facilities, so it is recommended that you bring your own snacks. It is also a good idea for anyone camping in a tent to bring extra food and drink. On the other hand, for those who prefer not to camp, bungalows, villas, guesthouses and hotels offer their guests meals morning and evening.
